Squad Training, Fitness & Fun
Children attending our squad sessions do so for both fun and training. Whether they swim competitively, enjoy the social aspect of squad swimming or have chosen swimming as their focus sport after a recent school carnival. Our squads focus’ on technique, enjoyment, positive re-enforcement and personal achievement.
At Dive In, we are committed to supporting your child’s goals and encourage a balance between school and sport. We offer flexibility in attendance recognising throughout the year you may need to increase or reduce your squad attendance.
Every child wants to swim faster, and every child wants to do well at their school carnival. For the most experienced swimmer, who regularly races competitively, the meet that matters the most is the school carnival where they race against their friends.
Our Dive In squad sessions are tailored to work with children’s attention spans towards their goals, and keep all participants challenged and engaged, with short fast sets and a focus on technique every week. We cater for all levels and enjoy the opportunity to correct bad habits.
Once technique is improved, speed automatically comes. Our 25 metre indoor heated pool is a great advantage when it comes to technique and correction. This holistic approach to squad training is unique to Dive In, and the results speak for themselves
This year, 2019, many of our swimmers competed in their School Carnivals. At Dive In we are so proud of their dedication to achieving their goals. We attended both Primary Public School District and Catholic Primary School Zone Carnivals. All our swimmers achieved results which we are all proud of. Keep up the good work and keep practising!
